On a typical 4-5 hour trip, we may drain 3 to 5 gallons of water out of the bilge if we do not take on a lot of water when backing up into heavy waves, which we had to do when retrieving nets, but I would not recommend with this boat. There are numerous scrapes and marks on the boat, mostly from trailering the boat, but the hull is very thick, and I cannot see any visible penetrations.
